Play Reading Group

A monthly play reading group for over 60s. The group will meet once a month to discuss play reading a pre-selected play that will have been read outside of the group. There will be guest speakers to discuss direction, stage design and costume.

2nd Wednesday of every month 2pm-4pm

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided

How to Write Your Inspiring Story

Got a positive story to tell but unsure how to write it? Come along to this FREE workshop and find out! Maybe you overcame a personal challenge, started an initiative or witnessed an act of kindness in the street.

‘How to Write Your Inspiring Story’ shows you how to identify your story, shape it, write it in a compelling way, and give tips on how to share it more widely.

Suitable for beginners.


Claire Louise Cohen is a writer, editor and PR consultant. She has worked in charity communications and trained volunteers to write their stories for the media.
