Build confidence and discover your potential!

Acting for Beginners is a ten week course for adults that is welcoming, creative and playful, and suitable for beginners as well as those with experience.

The classes will cover key acting skills such as:

  • Scene Study
  • Stage Craft
  • Improvisation
  • Character Development
  • LABAN Technique

Wednesday evenings, 6.15pm to 7.45pm 

22nd April to 1st July 2020

£135 for ten weeks

Adele has over 25 years experience as an actor, director and drama teacher. After graduating from Mountview Drama School she worked extensively as an actress in both the UK and Europe. Credits include National Theatre, Birmingham Rep, York Theatre Royal, Ludlow Shakespeare Festival, Southwark Playhouse. Her TV credits include Dr Who and The Bill. She is also a regular artist on the audio series, Diary of a River Song.

As a teacher and director she has overseen the drama programmes for Issos summer schools in both Cambridge and Yale, US. Worked for Shakespeares schools festival and Actorshop Theatre Company and directed numerous theatre productions. She continues to work with actors working in both theatre, TV and film.

Adele prides herself on her creative and playful classes, helping her students to reach their full potential, no matter if they are beginners or professional.
